The role
New to Creatorwood? Quick context: we're an AI filmmaking platform and streaming company. Storytellers, authors, screenwriters, and everyday creators come to us to turn their stories into real, finished films and shows using AI, either with our Movie Machine tool or through our done-for-you VIP Production service. Want to see what we actually do before you apply? Check out our website, YouTube channel, or blog.
Creatorwood's streaming platform and creator tools, the Movie Machine and VIP Production, help authors and storytellers build and grow their own AI-made shows. We're hiring a Creator Support Specialist to support the entire Creatorwood platform. You'll work directly with our top creators day to day, and just as closely with our technical team, helping make sure customer issues get tracked, followed up on, and actually resolved.
Not the right fit? We're hiring for several other roles too: Content Editor, Performance Marketer, Clipping & Critics Coordinator, Influencer Partnerships Coordinator, Appointment Setter, AI Screenwriter.
What you'll do
- Answer creator questions and troubleshoot issues across the entire platform
- Work directly with our top creators, and directly with our technical team, to get issues solved
- Proactively track open issues and follow up with the tech team until they're closed. You keep everyone on top of what's outstanding, not just report it once and move on
- Learn new platform features and tools fast, often with little to no onboarding, and turn that into clear, friendly guidance
- Respond to the readers/viewers of our top creators with speed, care, and sharp writing that represents a creator's voice and story accurately
- Help coordinate campaigns and releases between top creators and their audiences
- Flag recurring issues and bugs clearly enough that engineering can act on them without a lot of back-and-forth
- Contribute to help docs and FAQs as new features ship
Useful experience
- A track record of taking initiative: someone organized and on top of their own work who follows through and doesn't let things fall through the cracks
- Comfort working directly with a technical/engineering team: translating issues clearly and following up until they're actually resolved
- Prior experience supporting creators on another platform is a plus (e.g. YouTube, Patreon, Substack, Twitch, Discord, TikTok, Kickstarter, or similar)
- Comfort picking up new software and tools quickly
- Clear, friendly written communication: journalism, writing, or storytelling background is a plus, since part of this role means writing in a creator's voice
Compensation
This is a fully remote role. Compensation is $6–$8/hour, depending on experience, with room to grow as the role matures.
