🎬 The role
We run VIP Production by Creatorwood , a service where storytellers bring us their books, scripts, and ideas, and we turn them into finished films they own completely.
As an AI Director, you are the creative lead on those productions. You will guide the project from first frame to final delivery: mapping the film, generating scenes in our Movie Machine, editing for cinema quality, and keeping the client in the loop at every step.
The work follows a clear 5-step rhythm: understand the client's story and vision, create the characters + locations in their story, generate the film scene by scene and then edit it, review and revise with the client, and deliver a finished film they’ll love.
You will work across genres: book adaptations, biopics, romance, sci-fi, horror, documentaries, music videos, vertical films, and more. Every project is different, and every one is a real film that will make the dreams of a passionate storyteller come true.
This is an independent contractor role, around 40 hours a week (you can work more or less, and the best directors get the most projects).
You'll walk away knowing how to make a movie or show with a laptop. That skill is worth a lot, and almost nobody has it yet. Welcome to the frontier of filmmaking 🤠

- Edit the Storyboard and Generate Start Frames that Are Consistent and Engaging
- Generate the Film Using Frontier AI Video Models
- Edit the Film, Matching the Cinema-Quality that Will Define the Next Generation of Filmmaking
- Communicate with clients, keep them updated, and address their concerns throughout the production process

You keep making films with us on renewed terms, and you get a piece of the gross revenue on the Creatorwood studio productions you direct.
💰 Compensation
You get paid per finished minute, based on the runtime of the delivered film after AI generation costs.
Compensation is tied to performance. Directors who complete projects faster and hit higher quality bars get more projects, more pay, and bonuses. The better you get, the more you earn.
It's an independent contractor role. You set your own hours as long as the weekly commitment gets covered.
We also try to create a creative, uplifting environment where we support and empower our directors and teach them. We want you to grow here.
